Stressed Out Lately?


Here are some techniques to manage those stress, which ever applies to you:

1. Keep a stress diary. It helps to write what stresses you everyday. It also points out key areas for improvement.

2. Plan ahead. Improve time management and set realistic goals.

3. Focus on one responsibility at a time. Some of us do well in what we call "multi-tasking" but it's not a healthy choice.

4. Delegate work if possible. Whether at a workplace or at home, two or more pairs of hands are better than just a pair.

5. Prioritize responsibilities and obligation.

6. Don't take on more than you can handle. You are not Superman.

7. Simplify life. Life is already complicated, don't complicate it more.

8. Provide a positive outlook. Stop expecting failure.

9. Insert some work-free, stress-free activities. When I say stress-free...I can't stress it enough for you. Use your creativity. Find a hobby away from usual things you do.

10. Exercise helps. Deep breathing, muscular relaxation promotes oxygenation to the heart and brain.
